Privacy policy

SquidAnte is a calculator for poker side games. This page explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it.
- No ads, no tracking and no analytics. We never sell your data or share it for marketing.
- Without an account, everything stays on your phone.
- With an account, we store your email address and your saved game setup, so it follows you to other phones.
Without signing in
Your game setup, multiplier profiles and squid counts are stored only on your phone. We never receive them.
If you buy SquidAnte, Apple processes the payment. Our purchase provider, RevenueCat, receives a random ID for your copy of the app and your purchase history, so the app can unlock what you bought and restore it later. We never see your card details.
If you sign in
Signing in is optional. If you do, we store:
- your email address, to send you sign-in codes
- your game setup and multiplier profiles, so they appear on any phone you sign in on (squid counts stay on your phone)
- your account ID, which links your purchases to your account so you can restore them on another phone
If you request a format
A request opens your email app. We receive what you write, your email address and your account ID, and use them only to build and deliver your format. A private format is stored against your account ID so that only you get it.
Technical data
When the app connects to our providers, for example to sync settings or check purchases, their servers log technical details such as your IP address. These logs are used to keep the service secure and running.
If you’ve allowed it in your iPhone settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports with us.
Who processes your data for us
- Supabase: sign-in and synced settings
- RevenueCat: purchase records
- Apple: payments, under Apple’s own privacy policy
These providers may store data outside your country. They only use it to provide their service to us.
Why we use it
For people in the UK and EU, the legal reasons are:
- to provide what you asked for (sign-in, sync, purchases and format requests): needed for our agreement with you
- to keep the service secure and answer support requests: our legitimate interests
- to keep purchase and tax records: required by law
How long we keep it
- Your account and synced settings: until you delete your account.
- Format request emails: as long as we need them to deliver and support your format.
- Purchase records: kept by Apple and RevenueCat for as long as needed to restore your purchases and meet accounting and tax rules.
Deleting your account
In the app, open Account and tap Delete account. Your account and synced settings are removed straight away. Your purchases stay with your Apple ID, so you can still restore them. To have your purchase records or request emails deleted as well, email us.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing support@squidante.com. In the UK or EU you can also complain to your data protection regulator; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Age
SquidAnte is for adults aged 18 and over.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
